
Yuri Khadka
ABOUT
Yuri Khadka is an Associate Attorney in our Sacramento Location. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Davis and her juris doctorate from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Yuri has prior experience working at a big law firm before attending law school. While in law school, she worked at the immigration clinic for a year, assisting with immigration cases. She also worked as a law clerk at a local public utility company for a year, conducting research on labor and employment law, assisting with trial preparation, and drafting contracts. Additionally, she worked as a summer legal intern at a medical device company, where she collaborated with the general counsel to draft memoranda for FDA approval of medical devices. During her last semester, she externed with Judge Currier in the Sacramento Superior Court’s criminal division, drafting motions and orders. After law school, she worked at an insurance defense firm before joining Hanna Brophy.
While in law school, Yuri served as an editor for the University of the Pacific Law Review, where she published two articles about propositions from the 2022 primary election.
Yuri co-founded Project Hami, a social media-based non-profit dedicated to supporting those in need, raising awareness about community issues, and organizing fundraisers over the years. She loves painting, traveling, and learning about new cultures. To help the environment, she prioritizes using paper material, including straws!
