Robert Ashley joined our Sacramento office in January 2018. He represents employers and insurance carriers in all aspects of workers’ compensation.

Mr. Ashley graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana, where he frequently appeared on the Dean’s list and graduated from the School of Journalism with honors. Thereafter, he graduated with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. During law school, Mr. Ashley participated in a wide variety of endeavors, including acting as the American Bar Association Representative for McGeorge School of Law.  Additionally, Mr. Ashley worked as a judicial intern for Judge Lawrence B. Hagel at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C.  After law school, he began his career as an associate attorney with a firm in Napa, where he handled a variety of matters from estate planning and probate to civil litigation. Prior to joining Hanna Brophy, Mr. Ashley worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Marin County District Attorney.

In his spare time, Mr. Ashley enjoys fishing, hiking, playing golf, volunteering in the community, and spending time with his friends and family.
