Michael Easley

Michael Easley joined Hanna Brophy’s San Francisco and Oakland offices as an associate attorney in 2021. Michael represents self-insured employers, governmental entities, and insurance carriers in all aspects of workers’ compensation matters. He also defends employers in serious & willful misconduct claims as well as 132a discrimination claims.

Prior to joining Hanna Brophy, Michael worked as in-house counsel for two major insurers for over seventeen years. His work included defense of workers compensation claims, serious and willful actions, complex death claims, and Court of Appeal and Supreme Court-level appeals. He has also assisted in formulating corporate-level workers compensation strategies.
