Karla Woodson-Cardenas

ABOUT

Karla Woodson-Cardenas joined the Hanna Brophy team as a paralegal in 2019.  She currently assists the San Diego office attorneys with various aspects of workers’ compensation defense litigation.  She contributes dedication, diligence, and goes to great lengths to deliver excellence in her work product.

Prior to joining Hanna Brophy, Karla gained extensive workers’ compensation experience from 2005 to 2018, while working as a legal assistant and paralegal for various attorneys in another statewide defense firm.

Karla attended Southwestern College earning an Associates of Science degree in Bilingual Paralegal Studies, as well as an Associates of Arts degree in Liberal Studies.  Currently, she is preparing to become a California Certified Paralegal.

During her spare time, Karla enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, reading, and photography.  She also enjoys volunteering at her community church serving as a Sunday school teacher.  In an effort to be more green, Karla contributes to the environment by recycling, encouraging others to recycle, and partaking as a member of Greenpeace.
