Jose A. Rojas is a law clerk in the firm’s Los Angeles office and joined Hanna Brophy upon graduation from law school. He defends insurance carriers, self-insured private employers, and governmental entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation.

Mr. Rojas graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013. At UCLA, Mr. Rojas was a member of various honor societies and appeared on the Dean’s Honors List throughout his entire undergraduate career. Prior to law school, Mr. Rojas worked in the Human Resources Information Systems Department at an international telecommunications company.

Thereafter, Mr. Rojas graduated from UC Davis School of Law with his Juris Doctor in 2018. While in law school, Mr. Rojas served as Managing Editor of the UC Davis Immigration and Nationality Law Review and as Staff Editor of the UC Davis Business Law Journal. Additionally, Mr. Rojas was the recipient of the Sacramento County Bar Association 1L Diversity Fellowship and CELA’s 2017 Employee Justice Fellowship. Mr. Rojas clerked at two highly prominent law firms in the areas of Labor & Employment and was a certified student counselor in both the Immigration Law Clinic and the Workers’ Rights Clinic.

In his spare time, Mr. Rojas enjoys spending time with his friends and family, listening to music, and learning about different cultures. He is fluent in Spanish.
