Austin is a law clerk in our Los Angeles office. He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. While in school he clerked for the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler, a federal magistrate judge with the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He has experience in personal injury from the plaintiff’s side as well as public entity defense. He has mentored minority youth in at risk areas through a program called CLIMB.

Austin’s personal quote is, “The beginning of deter-mination and end of perseve-rance form the word deterrance (deterrence).  No task comes free of obstacles, but each instance of deterrence can be overcome by simply breaking it down to determination and perseverance.”

Austin’s efforts to be “green” include recycling as well as minimal to no printing at work or at home. Every paper unprinted is a tree saved!
