Matthew Gallagher

ABOUT

Matthew H. Gallagher is an associate attorney who joined Hanna Brophy in 2020. Prior to joining Hanna Brophy, Mr. Gallagher worked for another statewide workers’ compensation firm. He has represented insurance carriers, employers, and self-insured employers in multiple venues throughout California since 2017.

While attending the University of San Diego School of Law, Mr. Gallagher worked as an intern for the Office of the San Diego City Attorney Code Enforcement Unit. After his graduation in 2014 and bar passage in 2014, Mr. Gallagher acted as an Administrative Hearing Officer contracted by the City of San Diego, presiding over hearings involving civil penalties, fire code violations, noise complaints, storm water ordinance violations, and parking violations.
