Timothy Chan is an associate attorney in our Los Angeles office. He defends insurance carriers and self-insured employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation.

Timothy earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Northridge, where he majored in finance. Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where he attended as a honor’s scholarship recipient. During law school, Timothy gained valuable experience conducting preliminary hearings with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office as a certified law clerk and serving as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael E. Pastor of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He has also defended corporate clients in bankruptcy litigation and counseled businesses in immigration and corporate law.

Prior to joining Hanna Brophy, Timothy was an associate attorney at a prominent applicant attorney firm in Los Angeles.  He is experienced in all phases of workers’ compensation litigation.
